Strategies Activities

Hi Everyone,

Have you finished preparing to demonstrate the strategies activities?

Chansak and Yupadee came to see me yesterday to ask about the demonstration. So, I'd like to clarify this assignment a little bit more clearly.

What each group needs to do is to understand what the strategy you are responsible for is and prepare to tell your classmates about the strategy briefly. The other part of the assignment is for you to look at the back of the chapter (I gave) and choose one activity that can be used to practice the strategy you are responsible for. Don't create your own activity! You'll need to find the materials as suggested in the chapter, e.g., a passage, a song, etc. In the class, you will have to ask your classmates to do the activity in order for them to get a sense of the activity.

If you still have questions, please stop by my office after 3 p.m. I will be in the office until around 5 p.m.

Have a good weekend!

Welcome!

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for spending time creating your blogs for this class. I have added most of the blogs in my favorites already, so please check out your classmates' blogs when you have time.

As I mentioned in the class, I'm trying a few new ideas in this course and will use this blog to share my experiences with you all.

Even though I have taught this course two times now but I haven't liked the course design enough, so I have completely changed the approach to teach the course this semester. I hope the new course design will help you enjoy learning about teaching methodology and help prepare you for future teaching. Id appreciate your comments about the activities we do in class, so feel free to write to me.

I will write about the CFS simulation as the first learning log this week, so please come back and visit my blog again.
